Do you provide counselling for people with intellectual disability?
Not at this time.
Will you come to us?
Yes. Dare to Aspire clinicians will visit you at your home, day program or someone comfortable for you. We do not charge any additional travel costs within the Sydney metropolitan region or Illawarra. We provide services state- wide and there is a minimal travel cost fee outside of these areas and to rural areas.
Do you conduct IQ assessments?
No, not at this time. However, we may be able to assis you find the right Psychologist for the job.
What does it mean when you say you are a not for profit community organisation?
Dare to Aspire is a clinical branch of Allevia a community organisation that provides a variety of support to people in the community. We are not a Government organisation. Any profit made by Dare to Aspire is used to support the community through providing services either through Dare to Aspire or Allevia. As such Dare to Aspire is overseen by the same management committee as Allevia.
